We have been in business since 1992, initially trading as Linden Software Ltd.
In 2004 we changed our name to Geomatix Ltd, a name which we believe more accurately reflects our core activities.
Operating mainly in the fields of tidal prediction, electronic navigation and geodetics, we provide both consulting services and software solutions to our clients. Some of our most important achievements have been:-
- 1991 Design of the world's first Windows tidal prediction program, AutoTide..
- 1993 Electronic Fishing Chart plotter Kingfish developed & installed.
- 1995 DatumPro: a universal datum conversion program.
- 2002 Automated chart production system for compatible electronic chart overlays.
- 2005 Development of GeoTide tidal analysis software.
- 2007 Tidal Analysis of the Thames Estuary
- 2008 Managing the development of fishing safety plotter: FishSafe2
Geomatix are corporate members of the The Hydrographic Society, whilst I am personally an Associate Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation, a member of the Institute of Physics and a member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers.
